About April
I am an author, emotional wellness coach, and social work professional currently on the clinical path toward licensure. My work is rooted in a deep respect for the complexity of the human experience, particularly for adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, and attention challenges.
My Professional Lens
I support adults who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, emotions, or internal pressure, often while appearing capable and composed on the outside.
My perspective is shaped by:
Clinical training in social work
Ongoing education in emotional regulation and nervous system support
Writing and authorship focused on self-reflection, growth, and healing
A grounded, compassionate approach that honors both science and lived experience
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore their inner world without shame.
Why I Do This Work
Many adults spend years believing they are "too much," "not enough," or somehow broken, when in reality, their nervous systems have been doing their best to adapt. My role is not to diagnose or label, but to help clients build awareness, skills, and self-trust so they can move through live with more clarity and confidence.
Where I Am in My Clinical Path
I am currently completing clinical requirements toward professional licensure. All services offered at this time are coaching and educational in nature and do not replace psychotherapy or medical care.
Please Know
You deserve support that is thoughtful, respectful, and grounded, especially when life feels overwhelming.
